Central Park Engagement Session in New York City
Arielle and Matt are such a beautiful couple, both inside and out. As soon as we began talking about me photographing their New York wedding day, I immediately fell in love with their vision. I knew I wanted to work with them and was ecstatic when they chose me to be their photographer! I recently had the chance to meet up with them for their Central Park engagement session and I had a great time getting to know more about life with Arielle and Matt.
When I plan engagement sessions with my couples, my biggest goal is making them feel as comfortable and natural in front of the camera as possible. I encourage them to choose a location that is meaningful to their love story. Arielle and Matt chose Central Park and the Upper East Side neighborhood they live in because they spend a lot of time in these two NYC landmarks. That’s exactly the feeling I want for my couples! Not only is it a place where Arielle and Matt have lived their love story, but they’re also super iconic for a New York couple. A double win in my book!
Arielle and Matt looked effortlessly stylish during our session. I absolutely adored Arielle’s white dress. It was perfect for a laidback summer vibe, while still making it clear she’s the bride-to-be. Her dress popped perfectly against the apartments in the Upper East Side and all the green foliage in the park, too. I loved watching Arielle and Matt interact as we moved around the city. It’s clear that they are so in love, and it felt more like I was tagging along for a date than a big session for them. I hope that Arielle and Matt felt the same way because they truly were naturals in front of the camera!
Congratulations, Arielle and Matt! I’m so happy for you and thrilled that we were able to capture your beautiful New York City engagement session together!!
