I absolutely adored capturing Jackie and Joe’s engagement session on the Upper East Side! They wanted their photos taken at one of their favorite date night spots, a sweet little Italian restaurant in Manhattan. To them, their engagement session was about a night on the town with me simply trailing along to document all of the candid and fun moments they had together.

Jackie and Joe kicked off date night by snuggling into a booth together at their favorite Italian restaurant and ordering some delicious pasta and a round of drinks. I photographed them together while they fed each other, laughing and smiling together. We made a point to stop by the bar for more playful photos. Jackie wore a super fun sparkling blue dress with a big bow on the back. I loved finding unique ways to capture her look, too! It was a fun challenge to capture everything on 35mm film during this session, too. I had a great time playing with light and shadows in the restaurant.

After they were done eating dinner, we decided to walk around the Upper East Side. Jessica changed into a chic long sleeve white dress. It popped perfectly around the city as we walked down the street - and even captured some quick kisses as the NYC taxis whizzed by. This after dinner walk was the perfect way to end the evening and wrap up their sweet and playful engagement session on the Upper East Side.
