Romantic Central Park Engagement Photos
Congratulations, Grace and Jo! We had the most gorgeous New York City engagement session focusing on time spent in Central Park and the Upper East Side of the city. I just LOVE living and working in NYC. There’s always something inspiring, everywhere you look. Walking around with Grace and Jo to capture these moments was so fun for me. New York is a beautiful place and spending an afternoon with a couple in love is always a wonderful afternoon.
Early on, Grace and Jo mentioned that they wanted to just spend the afternoon wandering and letting me capture their story. We started on the Upper East Side before heading to Central Park. Grace and Jo chose more casual (yet still very city chic!) outfits to start the session. They held hands and just enjoyed a stroll around the neighborhood. I loved watching how much joy they experience when they’re together. Grace’s sweater was so pretty - the ivory was a nice nod to being a bride and the fun accents in her buttons and trim were perfect to bring some interest to her outfit.
After a nice walk, Grace and Jo changed before we moved to Central Park. There’s so many beautiful spots in the park - but I have a few favorites, including the Bethesda Fountain and Terrace. It’s historic, elegant, and photographs beautifully. Grace chose a gorgeous white dress and Jo’s suit looked stunning next to her. These two are definitely stylish! Again, we just wandered through Central Park, looking for spots around the fountain and terrace that spoke to them in the moment.
I just adore these two and their beautiful Central Park engagement portraits reminded me how much I love capturing love in NYC!
