As I was selecting some of my favorite moments from Edie and Connor’s NYC engagement session, I realized how absolutely classic their session was. When we began to plan their engagement portraits, Edie and Connor expressed how much they love where they live. I knew immediately that we should plan a relaxed session enjoying the afternoon walking around Gramercy Park and Central Park in the city. It was a wonderful way to document their love for each other - and New York City!

Our session began with more formal outfits around Gramercy Park. Edie wore a beautiful white linen dress and Connor’s navy suit looked perfect next to her! We captured some of what I consider to be quintessential NYC photos right on the street and sidewalk of their neighborhood. It was the perfect start to our session. Afterwards, Edie and Connor changed into complimentary light blue outfits for our sunset walk in Central Park.

Any time I visit Central Park with my couples, I always look for a few landmarks. One of my favorite places to start is the Bethesda Fountain and Terrace. Both are such classic spots in the park and never fail to provide a beautiful backdrop for my couples! Edie and Connor strolled around the park, cuddling up in front of the fountain and enjoying the view of the city as the sun set around us. It was a wonderful way to end our afternoon together.
