Sneak Peek Inside My Workflow and How It Helps Your Wedding

I love being organized. Putting everything in its proper place is relaxing for me. All the way back in elementary school, I color-coded the folders for every subject. Now, I still color-code my files, and I even own a label maker.

During your wedding planning process, the two vendors you will spend the most time with are your planner and your photographer. And it’s important to make sure that your photographer is organized and on top of the timing of every step of the process. From the moment my clients book with me, I’m in regular communication with them, helping with everything from their engagement sessions to their wedding day timelines. Here’s a sneak peek at how my workflow helps my clients:

We begin by planning your engagement session. This is our opportunity to get to know each other, and for you to get relaxed in front of the camera. More importantly, it tells your story as a couple. I help you choose a location (or locations!) that are emotionally significant and aesthetic.

Six months before your wedding, I send out a list of tips to prepare for your wedding day photos. I’ve found that when clients are prepared for every aspect of the day, they can relax into it more deeply, and the photos turn out all the better because of it.

Three months before your wedding, I send you a detailed wedding questionnaire that helps me get a feel for the most important parts of your celebration.

Two months before your wedding, we talk on the phone about your timeline and handle any adjustments that may need to be made!

One week before I connect with your planner or coordinator to make sure we are on the same page on any final changes. I check the weather, double-check the timeline and make my final preparations for your perfect day.

These are just a few of the ways that my workflow as your wedding photographer makes your day stress-free and more enjoyable! My job is to make your wedding day a once in a lifetime experience that is full of joy - and staying organized and in communication with you is the best way for me to do that!
